Clare Mutual Insurance Company is part of South West Nova’s rural communities.
Our Head Office, with four full time employees, is located in Belliveau Cove, Nova Scotia. We have 3 agents that live throughout the area of South West Nova, which extends from Middleton to Liverpool. The Agents are available to make house calls to explain our insurance policies. Our Board of Directors are local people representing our Members.
Policy wordings are formatted to suit the needs of our Members by the Maritime Association of Mutual Insurance Companies ( MAMIC ).
Claims are looked after by independent adjusters.
We support many local charities.
We promote fire safety through inspection programs.
The Company’s investment portfolio is managed by Seamark Asset Management Ltd., a Nova Scotia investment firm.
